A Green Tara thangka is a sacred Tibetan Buddhist scroll painting depicting the female Bodhisattva of compasion,protection,and swift action .She is known as Doljyang or Dolma in Tibetan, literal meaning is liberating mother. She is the embodiment of all the buddhas and Bodhisattvas of three times in female form. Hand-painted with natural pigments, it features her sitting on a lotus, one leg extended in readiness to help, and is used for meditation and to invoke blessings.She is very compassionate and non dual and always provides swift help to sentient beings.
